the lists are out ..

finally .. after much anticipation .. the lists are out ... the school supply lists that is .. we spent thursday walking up and down the aisles of walmart looking for just the right folders and binders ..

this wasn't on ellie's list of course .. but i guarantee you that it is on ellie's teachers list ..

a very fun binder .. it looks very second grade don't you think .. ellie thought so ..

another one of those items not on ellie's list .. if i was a teacher ... i would put these on my class supply list .. can you imagine .. 18 packs of oreos .. heaven .. if you were having a rough morning .. you could break into the oreos that you had hidden up high in your "supply closet" and all would be ok again ..

markers .. i would love to work for crayola ..

crayons .. i am not sure why we bought another box .. ok .. 2 .. cash wanted a box as well .. we have a huge box full of crayons .. but there is something about a fresh box of never used or opened crayons .. exciting ..

wide ruled paper .. this was not on our list last year .. 4 packs of it .. you must do a lot of writing in the 2nd grade ..

folders ..

to bring home all those A's in .. or spelling lists .. math sheets .. reading logs .. or .. geometry .. chemistry equations to balance .. logarithms to define .. you know ... average 2nd grade work ..

and rememeber .. when you are out buying all those fun school supplies .. pick a few extra up for the teacher .. teachers loves extra's .. promise ..
