this is the 1960 thunderbird that jeff's great-grandmother bought .. i have been told that she walked into the car dealership in New York .. probably in kitten heels and white gloves .. and bought it herself .. it has spent the last 4 years or so sitting outside at the shop .. prior to that it sat for about 25 years in pop spielmann's barn ..
we drove to ramona one day with little ellie in tow and drug it out of the barn and onto a trailer .. i will have to find those pictures and share them with you .. they are sitting in a folder somewhere on my hard drive on my old computer .. i think ...
anyway .. we have had grand plans to have her all fixed up ..
as you can see .. there is a bit of rust here and there .. and the interior needs just a bit of work ..
but .. when it is all over .. she will be a bqbird
