after the storm was over on thursday night and the kids and i came out of the pantry we did a quick check to make sure all the pool furniture was accounted for and there were no cushions floating in the lake .. dad called and told us to check out the rainbow .. so speedy quick the kids and i headed to the front yard to see .. and not only was there one rainbow .. but two !!
it was quite a sight to see .. everyone got out their cameras and started taking pictures ... cash took about 100 .. just in case anyone else might need one ..
then i remembered that i needed to make cupcakes for ruth .. her birthday was on tuesday and she requested chocolate cupcakes with mint icing ..
so speedy quick we whipped up a batch of cupcakes ..
it was a busy night ..
high winds .. storms .. sheets of rain .. thunder .. lightening .. panic .. and baking ..
