because we had days like this ..
and this ..
i do not like to be cold .. i do not even like to be a little chilly .. i keep a heater .. ok .. it's mike's heater .. under my desk at work year round .. i run it all the time .. jeff will not turn the heat on in the building unless it is below 20 ... once i get cold i stay cold ..
you are asking yourself well then why in the world do i go to colorado and go skiing in the middle of winter ...
because i get out voted that's why

so .. after freezing the better part of my thermal underwear clad hind end off the last 2 years i finally figured it out ..
i bought myself a pair of these .. jeff laughed a big belly laugh when he saw them and asked if i was really going to wear them .. i said yes .. all the time .. the only other pair of shoes i took on our trip were my running shoes ..
and i asked for a hat like this for christmas .. which thank goodness my mom bought me ..
so not only was i wonderfully warm .. i also looked good !!
see .. a happy warm jenny on the freezing cold ski slopes of colorado in the dead of winter ..
i bet you next year we go to the beach ..
