on the way home from school .. ellie came up with a great idea on how to dig those last few inches .. one person can go down into the hole and the other person can lower down a bucket .. then the person in the hole fills the bucket with rocks and then the other person pulls up the bucket .. genius that kid of mine is i tell you !
just don't smack her in the face with the bucket cash ..
things were not moving along as fast as cash had hoped so he brought in the heavy equipment .. now we should see some improvement ..
and just to be safe .. cash put orange cones around the "work site" .. i tell you what those kids got the last 6 inches dug .. so now .. concrete .. which i read in the directions .. i know don't tell jeff .. has to dry for at least 3 days .. unless of course you are having a spell of weather like we are and then you are better off letting it dry for at least 5 or 6 days .. so we are looking at at least one more week of the basketball goal laying in the driveway .. soon .. i keep hearing soon ..
