cash goes to work ..

while mom and dad were gone cash came to work with me for a few days ... he had things to do he said .. when i asked him "what things" .. he just said .. things with mike and daddy .. ok i said .. this can mean anything from breaking into pop machines to riding go-peds .. and just about anything in-between that you can imagine .. 

this time in was the installation of jeff's new horn for his big truck .. 

not only did the horn come in several boxes .. but it also required the installation skills of mike .. 

this is not a simple project ..

cash's job was to sort out the screws .. bolts etc .. noah reminded mike to watch out though because cash has a tendency to "borrow" the big bolts .. we did not want to have to search and search for the missing bolts only to find out they were in cash's tool box .. kinda like when we assembled the playground and he had the one bolt that was needed to put the entire playground together ..

cash is not happy here .. jeff just told him that he does not get to use mike's drill .. this did not go over well .. and yes he needs a haircut .. 

they are getting a plan together .. jeff is saying lets just skip steps 1 thru 5 and go straight to 6 .. mike is telling jeff that you can't do that .. you have to start here .. jeff has never been one to follow directions .. this is the reason mike is installing the new horn and NOT jeff ..

yes .. this is part of the horn .. but it's an air compressor you say .. yes i know .. 

but what kind of horn needs an air compressor to work ..

a train horn i say ..

i love that jeff has his arms crossed .. my guess is mike is trying to hold the horn .. and a tool or two and wondering just how in the world he is going to mount this horn to jeff's truck .. and well .. jeff .. he is probably giving mike all kinds of advice ..

hey daddy .. i am going to have peaches and cottage cheese with toby and watch tv .. call me when you need me .. ok cash 

they ran into some issues when it came time to install the air compressor .. cash was hollaring something about needing to wear a helmet so that he could weld with mike .. what i said .. yes momma .. a helmet to weld .. cash it's time to go i say .. but momma .. mike says that i can weld with him .. pack up your tools please .. we are leaving .. 

so the horn is not installed yet .. jeff needed to order parts and i am sure that mike had lots to finish up before he went home .. seeing how he spent his entire labor day monday installing the horn .. 

so .. consider this a warning .. if jeff is around and he honks his horn .. it is loud.. train horn loud .. intersection clearing loud .. illegal i am sure loud .. you will be scared and then you hollar not so nice words at him ..
