finally .. we got to boat with the mullens ..

on tuesday we finally got together with the mullens for a little bit of boating .. and tubing .. and wake boarding and dinner .. it has taken us all summer to accomplish this small task ..

these poor kids .. they are not having any fun at all ..

i think that next time we will just stay home and go to bed early ..

we took advantage of our time together and got cooper up on the wake board ..

of course in order to do this we had to leave the mullens boat floating out in the drowning creek .. with no one in it .. while all 10 of us piled into our boat .. cash was in charge of watching cooper's boat .. lucky for us .. it didn't drift into any one's dock or the shore ..

and cooper .. i think that he has the wake boarding thing figured out ...

which meant that it was time to boat up to the landings for dinner ..

so we ordered drinks .. root beer all around .. for the kids that is ..this is how cash drinks his root beer ..

b .. he is so funny .. this is how he drink his root beer ..

and .. cooper .. our newest wake boarder .. he likes his root beer to ..

the kids were still for about 3 minutes so that i could snap this pic .. and then of course they took to pushing the swings .. and you will notice the sign .. clearly posted on the back of the swing that says no pushing .. evidently ellie can no longer read ... because they pushed and pushed those swings ..

time to go home .. seeing how is was dark .. and the landings were closing .. b and ellie have become fast friends ..
