last thursday night i am at home .. enjoying the last few minutes of date night .. when ellie comes busting through the front door .. mom .. ellie screams .. guess what dad got cash .. uuuggghhhh .. i start to think .. surely he did not buy the drill that he has his eye on .. or that monster truck set .. oh no .. he bought him a skateboard .. a skateboard .. yes .. you heard me right .. cash really wants a long board .. the vinita walmart did not have any of those so he had to settle for a skateboard .. oh my .. i say .. come and see it mom .. you are going to love it .. yes .. i am going to love it all the way to the emergency room .. well needless to say it was too dark to do any serious skateboarding thursday night .. but jeff took it to work so that he could skateboard on saturday ..
since cash has NO IDEA how to skateboard .. he has only seen the washed up motorcrosser's do it on nitro circus and the fools on jackass .. jeff pulls him .. all skateboarders start off this way .. so he can get his bearings .. right .. ok .. sure ..
hey mom .. look .. i have on all my safety gear ..
hey dad .. can you go a little faster .. not bad form ..
all right a hill with a downward slope .. right into the lake ..
oh jeff .. there is slack in the rope .. stop ..
ok .. now there is lots of slack .. do you see that .. are you watching where you are going .. hey you are going downhill .. do you know that ..
i knew that belly would come in handy soon .. i would rather cash run his chin into his daddy's belly than the concrete .. so ... want to take bets on how long it is going to be before cash breaks his arm or knocks out all his teeth ..
