race day ..

since i was not home last night to double check cash's gear bag ..

i left him a check list ..

granny and grandpa showed up a little before 8 to pick up the big bag and the little racer ..

i didn't get a pic of him because he darted out of the house

 and into the truck before i could even get my lens cap off .. 

so off they went ..

the race was in missouri .. on the other side of springfield ..

about 3 hours away ..

mom sent this ..

they are on their way home as i post this ..

she also sent it to our sweet friend lana in texas ..
