it has been a "get up very early every morning" kinda week for us .. so we slept in today .. it was wonderful .. we woke up .. ellie was 9 .. cash thinks that he is 5 .. not yet we kept telling him .. he didn't get it .. ellie is 9 now so he must be 5
we finally gave in and said ok .. be 5 !
so to start our celebration we had sparkle pancakes ..
eggs over easy .. which i overcooked because i was worrying about the pancakes ..
who doesn't L O V E sparkle pancakes dripping in syrup ..
they were wonderfully delicious this morning .. ellie said they were the best batch that i have ever made in her entire 9 year existence ..

and after sparkle pancakes and overcooked eggs over easy we opened presents ..

after breakfast we played trucks and then dolls and then baked up a big ole batch of cupcakes ..
it was a wonderful day to turn 9 or 5 if your cash
