fireworks and cake ..

this past weekend sydnee .. jay .. misty .. cj and misty's momma and dad came to the lake ..

we celebrated syd's birthday .. 

cash is smitten with syd .. he must always sit beside her 

sweet faces .. 

we got syd a mad libs pad for her birthday .. we were thinking of body parts and nouns ..

i have forgotten how fun mad libs can be 

misty dad made an out of this world smoked brisket for dinner ..

cash's feet are clean ..

yes .. he had been swimming all day .. 

delicious yummy cake .. 

i had 2 pieces after dinner and a piece for breakfast the next day 

it was really good .. 

then it was time for the firework portion of the night ..

cash has decided that he loves loves loves fireworks ..

or more like he loves lighting the fireworks with fire .. 

yes .. there was just a little clean up to do when it was over but it was a great night ..

brisket .. cake .. fire and sweet family ..

not a bad way to spend a night ..
