top of the town ..

last night jeff and i went to a benefit for the child care resource center .. 

it was called top of the town .. 

i love little events like this .. jeff kinda loves little events like this .. 

so i was very surprised when i woke up from my nap while we were hiding out this last weekend at the mayo and jeff says to me ..

look at this .. doesn't it look like fun ..

i said .. why yes it does ..

do you want to go he asks ..

yes i say .. 

it started at my most favorite place .. the petroleum club ..

i miss the petroleum club .. 

so the event goes like this ..

you hop from roof top to roof top on the some the oldest and most

 coolest buildings in down town tulsa .. 

they have drinks .. 

and snacks at each roof top .. 

you get to walk around the building lobbies with cameras and take pictures without people saying excuse me mam .. but you can't take pictures of that .. 

you get to stand and look out at the tulsa sky line in every single direction .. 

you get to catch amazing light .. 

had i known that it was going to be this cool i would have brought my tripod

and camped out with my wine and lemon tarts ..

the lobbies were amazing .. 

did you know that the penthouse of the philcade building was the private home of waite phillips ?

if you did you know more that me .. 

we got to tour a bit of it .. 

there are tunnels that run underneath all these buildings as well ..

and the elevators .. 

wow .. is all i can say ..

we signed up for next year already !!
