indy ..

no .. we did not zip off to the indy film festival for spring break .. 

that would not have been a bad idea though ..

we zipped off to indianapolis indy .. 

you know .. where the super cross is ..

and all those loud kids that were running up and down the halls late at night ..

we walked around town a bit to check it all out .. 

cash and ellie were taking turns with my little camera taking pictures .. 

a very nice lady said .. 

would you like me to take a picture of you and your kids .. i jumped at the chance 

this is where we spent saturday .. 

of all the tracks that we have seen this year .. i like this one the best .. 

we were lucky enough to get "pit passes" to the pits .. the pits at indy are closed .. 

there was no pit party like in dallas and st louis .. 

this is the kawasaki camp .. 

this is ryan villopoto's coach .. he is the points leader and most

 likely will be the super cross champion this year ..

and this super cross fans is ryan villopoto hanging out with my kids .. 

our kawasaki rep talked to the indy kawasaki rep and this is what happened ..

yes .. i know he is not wearing a shirt and his pants are unzipped .. 

he just got back from turning practice laps .. 

he rolled in on his kawasaki .. talked a few things over with his chief mechanic ..

tore off his jersey and then walked our way and said hello .. my name is ryan ..

yes .. he works out .. i am so wishing how that i had handed the camera to jeff and said here ..

 take my picture with ryan .. 

but i couldn't talk .. i just stood there snapping pics .. 

he is a super cross movie star !!

and we got to hang out with him for a bit ..

we also got a tour of the big kawasaki rig .. it's like their service department on wheels ..

i asked him if he did his homework and took out the trash .. and he said yes .. always .. 

i was hoping this part would sink into cash .. 

he even signed cash's hat ..

after hanging out with ryan we got to walk the track .. 

cash got in a bit of trouble for playing in the dirt .. 

"hey kid"  .. you in the green he said .. stop playing in the dirt.. 

so he stopped playing in the dirt and picked up rocks instead .. 

ryan asked if we could pick up all the rocks on the track for him ..

cash's pockets were full .. 

it was exhausting work ..
