yes .. that is me .. holding my marathon bib .. the whole picking up of marathon items was so organized and easy i could hardly believe it .. we ran right in and got what we needed and then ran on out .. we still had a lot of ground to cover saturday .. yes it was pre-marathon day but it was also a day in new york and it was not going to be wasted ..
i was just a little happy that macy's was all decorated for christmas .. yes it is kinda early i know .. but you should have seen ellies eyes light up when we walked in .. magical .. just magical ..
we wrote a letter to santa and put it in the huge mail box .. when i asked cash what we wanted for christmas he totally froze .. not one thing came out of his mouth ..
twinkle lights and garland on anything that would stand still ..
while we were in the fashion district we stopped by the gap of all gaps .. it is 3 levels .. super super big .. the kids were cold so we got a couple pairs of hats and gloves ..
ellie and i also got a few fun new things while jeff and cash were in the bathroom .. we were having dinner with baby molly after all and we needed something fun to wear .. ok not really but that is the story and we are sticking to it ..
after the fashion district we headed over to bryant park ..
they have a really neat ice skating rink ..
oh and the park part of it .. was beautiful .. greenery everywhere .. mums and pansies planted in pots ..
little chairs to sit a bit in .. or eat your lunch in .. or sit with your sweet friends and drink coffee and chat
and in case the green space isn't doing anything for you .. you can stare in awe and amazement at the huge tall buildings ..
or ride the carousel ..
hello mom .. you are so pretty .. you are going to have swift feet tomorrow and it is going to be a great day !
