what's in your sink ..

just because it seems to me that the only kind of dishes that ever make their way into my sink are sippy cups i wanted to tell you about them .. or complain about them or wish for big people cups for my small people ..

maybe the reason that they are the only kind of dishes that i wash are because we eat at my moms almost every night .. but that is beside the fact and doesn't count as a reason that you can use .. in case you were going to say to me .. the reason you have no other kind of dish to wash little miss jenny is because you don't ever cook because you eat at your mom's all the time ..

sippy cups are the kind of cup that rolls under the couch because it was used as a hockey puck .. when your dirt loving son has taken up "indoor hockey" .. and then is forgotten for 6 weeks .. it is not noticed until the rotten milk that is in it is curdled and smells so bad the odor hits you in the face when you open the front door when you come home from a relaxing romantic get-away weekend ..

yes .. i threw that one away ..

so here they are .. all clean and ready to go .. i wonder to myself sometimes .. i wonder when i will let my kids .. or more specifically cash .. use real cups .. the kind without a lid .. the kind that when they get knocked over .. say by a soccer ball that is flying thru the house because for some reason cash thinks that the "don't play ball in the house" rule applies to everyone on earth but him and his dad .. they spill .. they spill their contents all over everywhere .. to dry and become sticky so that lint and hairballs can adhere to them ..

i think that it might be awhile longer .. besides .. look how cool they are .. who would want to drink out of cup with a lid on it anyway when you can drink out of a cup with cars on it !
