as promised .. my morning ..

depending on what day of the week it is i do different things in the morning .. sometimes i go to work .. sometimes i stay home and sometimes i go to tulsa ... all my mornings are crazy in their own way and most of the time .. no matter how much planning ahead for the next day was done the night before .. we are usually running late ..

so .. this is tuesday morning .. up at 6 AM .. ugh .. it is still dark outside at 6 AM .. and i don't really think that people should get up while it is still dark .. since no one really seems to care what i think about that .. we get up .. up .. in the shower .. dry hair .. put on a bit of a face .. get dressed .. this particular tuesday i was not going to work .. at least not for the whole day .. ellie and i had dentist appts in tulsa .. followed by an 8 yr old check up for her .. and then the ever popular flu shot .. so instead of jeans and my fleece vest i opted for a fun brown and black brushed velvet skirt .. a black sweater and my black tights and knee high boots .. we were going to have a girl day after all .. may as well dress the part ..

then it was time for breakfast for the kids .. ellie had kix and strawberries .. so did cash .. he was off playing with his new trains so no pic of him today ..

also made her a little love in a cup .. steamed milk .. chocolate syrup .. and a marshmallow on top ..

and love for me as well ..

while she eats her breakfast ellie goes over her spelling list .. that way she can take the test on tuesday .. make a 100 and be done with spelling for the week .. one less thing to have to worry about for the week .. and yes .. she usually makes 100's on tuesday and we are done for the week ..

so i took cash to mom and dad's .. took ellie to school .. went to work .. did a few things .. picked ellie up at 11 and we headed to tulsa to eat lunch ... get our teeth cleaned .. no cavities by the way .. get an 8 yr old check up .. some flu mist .. then for some shopping .. ellie spent her birthday money from uncle jay .. we ran over to utica to check out the gap .. one the way back to the car .. we ran into jennifer todd .. ellie said .. oh lets have coffee .. and so we did .. we walked over to starbucks with jennifer .. ordered ourselves some coffee and sat and had ourselves a visit ..just like we used to do when buck and ellie were babies .. coffee .. babies and a visit .. now .. 8 years later .. coffee .. big kids and a  visit .. hey .. coffee and girl friends .. you can never go wrong there ..

it was a great morning .. that turned into a super day .. !!
