Evil Knivel rides again ..

a little preface here .. now think back to when we went skiing .. and jeff had to chase cash down the hill and catch him becuase he was all about going fast ... and a) didn't want to stop b) didn't know how to stop because he didn't listen to that part of the instruction or c) just likes to see his dad run ..

ok .. so with that fresh in your mind .. here we go .. sunday was nice at the lake .. a little cloudy but warm enough to be outside .. cash has been bugging the heck out of jeff to ride his motorcycle .. so jeff says ok .. get your helmet and lets go .. jeff is showing him where the gas is and how it works .. honestly .. like he needs any instruction here .. twist this and you will go .. jeff says .. go fast ? .. cash asks .. yes .. you will go fast .. jeff says .. i was no where near the conversation that they were having but i bet you 100 bucks that that is what was being said .. now .. the whole time this little "training session" is going on does jeff ever address the break and where it is and how it works .. hmmmm i am wondering to myself ..  well that's probably ok .. because it still has the rev limiter on it .. it can't go fast .. no problem .. we are safe .. or so i thought ..

ok .. this is working out just fine .. jeff is ahead of cash .. cash is not looking where he is going but we have a big front yard .. this might be ok ..

ok .. cash found the gas .. and now jeff is behind .. oh dear .. oh dear .. oh dear ..  

oh cash .. look out .. you are about to run into the pipe fence .. slow down .. look ! .. do you see ? .. i can't stop dad .. you didn't show me how to work the breaks .. you are going to so be in trouble with mom ..  oh my ..

oh .. so now you are going to show him how to work the breaks .. oh .. what's that you say .. you took the rev limiter off  the motorcycle .. oh ok .. well maybe we should put it back on .. like until he is 18 !!!

so i survived the motorcycle riding session that we had .. we come in for some lunch .. guess what was on tv .. motorcross .. cash is transfixed to the tv .. they are doing a segment on 3 of the expert pro motorcrossers .. they are showing all the tricks that they can do .. all the huge jumps of their careers and all the BIG BIG BIG crashes ... how many bones they have broken .. the number of concussions they have had .. you know all those important statistics .. cash turns to jeff and says with all seriousness in his voice .. dad .. i want to ride like THAT .. what i shriek .. like that mom .. isn't that awesome he says .. i am starting to think that i liked him better when we couldn't understand one thing that he was saying .. that way i would never have heard that .. i think that i am going to buy him a set of golf clubs ..
