New Years Eve ... Beaver Creek Style ..

We are in Beaver Creek for a little vacation .. with it being New Years Eve we decided that we would participate in the festivities .. let me set the stage for you .. it is 3 degrees outside ... you have on every article of clothing that you packed .. clean and dirty .. the wind is blowing .. there are people everywhere .. you are worried about kids losing mittens .. kids losing hats .. losing kids .. so you pile on the shuttle to go down to the village so that you can see the fireworks .. cash is hollering that it is too loud .. ellie's feet are cold .. you are wondering to yourself why did you not just stay at the hotel where it was warm and where you were having a fun time .. and then the fireworks start .. suddenly cash is awed by the blue colors .. ellie's feet aren't cold and you are glad that you rode the shuttle with the 100's of other people to see the fireworks .. then they are over and cash is hollering that it was to loud and ellie's feet are cold again .. but that's ok because you are going back to the hotel to order cookies and ice cream from room service and you are going to turn on the little gas fireplace in your room and talk about the favorite parts of your day .. after all .. it is the last day of 2009 .. there is no time to bitch and complain .. it is time to look forward to 2010 .. what kind of year will it be . what fun things are you going to do .. what neat things will you get to see .... so i wish everyone a fantastic 2o10 .. it is going to be a great year .. ellie will turn 8 ... cash will turn 4 ... i can hardly wait !!
