My World ...

All the boats are placed ..

cash and i stopped by the boat show after school on wednesday to check on the guys .. they were finishing up placing all the boats .. this is a long day for the guys .. they fetch the watercraft one by one with the fork lift and place them on the stands .. cash was taking it all in .. he would stand in the aisle way and watch daniel drive the forklift to the end of the building and pick up another watercraft and then he would run back hollering .. daniel coming .. !!

one by one they are placed on their stands .. ever so carefully ..

that is jeff on the left and mike on the right .. they are "discussing" the position of the watercraft ..

you can see that this is hard work .. hence the coors light in jeff's hand ..

all placed and ready to be cleaned ..

Meet Slug and Cash gets a ride from PePa ..

this is Slug .. no kidding .. that is his name .. and his sweet dog Shidey .. they are a boat show fixture .. Slug is the one that always rains on jeff's parade and tells him to turn down the music ..

and this is PePa .. better known to the rest of us as Ugly John Mullen .. but to my kids he is just PePa .. well PePa has all kinds of big big trucks .. and we know who loves big big trucks .. yes .. Cash .. you are right .. so come on Cash ... PePa says .. lets go for a ride .. i am pretty sure that your mom won't mind .. not one little bit ..

open the big door and up we go .. i will let you honk the horn .. !!

Boat show move in ...

It's time to move into the Tulsa Boat Show .. I secretly love this time of the year .. please don't tell Jeff .. there is an excitement in the air .. December is a pretty slow month so everyone is ready to work .. and work we do .. when we get back from our little Christmas Vacation it is time to get all the product uncrated .. cleaned up .. loaded on trailers and ready to go .. and then .. with much anticipation .. finally it is move in day .. Ellie has been to every move in .. except for this one .. she would have missed to much 1st grade work .. she was not and I repeat NOT happy about this .. especially since Cash got to go .. she didn't think that was fair at all .. not to worry .. because she got to go on a big date with Aunt Mary on Tuesday .. which she got to leave school early for .. so all is right in her world again .. so back to the move in .. we move the big boats on Monday .. the MasterCraft boats and the SeaDoo and Yamaha jet boats .. it takes 8 vehicles to get these to Tulsa .. so we load up our fleet of vehicles and head to Tulsa ..

and then .. the backing up .. this is not my strong point .. I can do it .. just not as fast as Jeff would like .. so I hand that job off to my brother .. watch closely Cash .. one day .. you will be backing up that big ole truck with a big ole boat on it .. so pay close attention ...

so here 5 of the boats .. parked .. until Tuesday when they start to put down carpet and move in the boats to our booth .. more tomorrow .. I know .. see I told you it was exciting ...

Packet loss is the issue ...

it seems that i am having "packet loss" issues with my internet .. that is why i can't upload any pictures .. even tiny 7 jpeg pictures .. so until the cable guys can come and fix my issue .. or until i go to work .. this is all you get .. just words .. no pictures .. which honestly what's the point of reading if there is nothing to look at .. not to worry .. i go to work tomorrow .. in the ice and snow storm that is making its way here .. what is "packet loss" you ask .. well ed with tech support said that somewhere along the way all my info is being dumped off the cable .. it could be at the pole out by the road where the cable is connected .. easy fix .. it could be the cable buried under jeff's yard .. not an easy fix .. it could be where the cable comes into the house .. easy fix or the cable behind the walls .. not so easy fix ... so keep your fingers crossed that .. 1) it doesn't snow and ice .. 2) my internet issue is an easy and quick fix .. 3) the boat show goes well .. there you go .. you all have all kinds of wishing to do .. so get busy .. might cross your fingers why you are at it .. because we have been moving into the boat show this week and i have some fun pictures to share .. so you might want to double cross your fingers .. !!

Ice skating .. in the snow ..

Because we thought that it would be fun to ice skate in the snow .. we ordered some snow .. and believe it or not .. it snowed .. and snowed and snowed .. it did not stop snowing the whole day .. next time we need to be a little more specific ..

so we ice skated to our little hearts content ..

even though we could not see one ding dang thing because it was snowing the biggest snow flakes that i have ever seen in my whole life ..

even little cash got some ice skating in .. mostly just slipping along ..

it was the best ice skating ever !!

A nice quiet sunday morning .. i don't think so

ellie and i are sitting in our big chair this morning flipping through our catalogues .. looking at the latest spring fashions .. just chatting away .. oh look at his one mom .. i like this one .. oh this would be perfect for dinner at arrowhead .. when ...

this happens ..

attack of cash .. needless to say our quiet sunday morning was so over .. he continued to do this until ellie and i finally got up .. i think boys are some kind of test ... a test to see if you can stay sane .. well i am pretty sure that i have flunked .. and i am pretty sure that there are no retakes .. why can he not sit still and look at pretty clothes and have conversation with ellie and me .. because he is jeff's son .. that's why .. and just like his dad he has to interrupt any kind of quiet time that i might be having .. interrupt it with this crazy energy that he has .. why i ask you .. ?!?!?!?

a night by the fire ..

at night they would lite the fire pits .. so we thought hey .. lets make smores .. so we procured all the fixings and parked ourselves by the biggest fire pit that we could find ..

i will have to say that uncle greg makes pretty good smores .. nothing like warm melted chocolate and googy marshmallows between 2 crispy graham crackers ..

and a little daddy time .. look at how blissfull ellie looks .. all full of smores and cuddled up with her daddy ..

oh cash .. what do you see up on the mountain .. a snowcat .. where .. right there mom .. look !!

sure enough there were 2 of them up on the mountain .. i swear that kid can spot big machines miles away .. so we watched the snow cats .. ate smores and sat by the fire .. not a bad way to spend the night ..

Big Kids Camp ..

just in case you were wondering what the big kids did while the little kids went to kids camp in the early eveing .. well the big kids had cocktails .. that what we did .. cocktails and snacks ..

the bll is mine .. the sprite is cash's .. just in case you were confused ..

look at our little party that we have going on .. this was new year's eve .. we were not in the mood to spend $150 a plate on dinner .. so we ordered in some pizza and had our own little party while the kids were working on arts and crafts at kids camp .. i tell you .. we were the envy of everyone in the hotel that night .. we had a blast .. ate cheese and crackers .. chips and salsa and pizza .. drank beer and then went and watched the fire works in the beaver creek village .. then came home and went to bed .. it was a perfect eveing ..

check out the trash can .. jeff filled it full of wine .. beer and ice .. it was the best little cooler ever .. and our little snack tray .. it came from the bathroom .. i tell you .. jeff is resourceful !!!

Little Kids Camp ..

every night at the westin in beaver creek from 5-7 pm they have what they call "unwind" .. they have drinks and music for the adults and kids camp for the little kids .. this gives every one a chance to wind down from the day on the moutain .. i love this part of the day .. !!


so the kids were creating their own picture frame .. cash loves arts and crafts .. anything with glue and scissors he is all for

they worked and worked on their frames .. and i will have to say that they turned out great !! got to love kids camp !

Meet Rylee ..

who does not just love sweet and tiny baby hands ..

and look ... i tell you what .. nothing is prettier than a little baby girl .. and nothing makes my heart skip a beat and leap up into my throat like baby girls and their daddies ..
Meet sweet sweet rylee .. her daddy works with us .. i finally got a chance to go over and meet her .. and i tell you what .. she was the perfect baby .. she is so happy and content .. and pretty .. so congratulations nikki and ryan .. enjoy every moment of sweet rylee .. because before you blink 6 times you will be sending her off to kindergarten .. and before you blink 13 times she will be getting married .. so savor each and every late night feeding .. because they will come to an end .. enjoy every smile and baby coo because they turn into .. mom do you think this color polish will go with my outfit or my favorite .. mom .. i don't have one thing to wear .. you don't get to go backwards in time .. you don't get to repeat any of these fun little milestones with her .. document it all .. take pictures everyday .. soak in every single minute that you can .. and by golly hug and kiss and love her every moment of every day !

Our anniversary ..

Jeff and I celebrated 16 years of marriage on friday .. we have been together for 20 years .. seeing how i am only "24" .. that is a long time .. i thought i would share a few pictures of our big day with you ..

this is jeff spielmann on the left .. i know .. look how handsome he is .. and jeff conrad on the right .. needless to say everyone always called them by their last names .. jeff conrad and i went to elementary school together .. conrad lived down the street from spielmann when we were in school .. they also played soccer together .. we are still friends with the conrads to this day .. conrad and his very cute wife, tiffany and their 3 kiddos live in houston .. conrad introduced us .. acutally he talked spielmann into inviting him and 2 other guys to the lake for the day .. good thing spielmann did .. invite themselves to the lake for the day .. because our first date came soon after ..

awww .. how sweet .. me and my dad .. we had a small .. very non-fancy wedding .. not by my choosing .. i wanted the whole 9 yards .. big dress .. big church .. big reception .. big price tag .. instead .. we had a small and non-fancy wedding and built a house and bought furniture .. it may have been the smartest thing that i have ever done .. according to my dad ... but i would still to this day have had the big version of our plain and non-fancy wedding ..

i don't remember what he said to me .. i wish to gosh i did .. because it must have been pretty funny ..

look how young we look .. we were young .. a whole 22 years old .. on friday morning when we woke up jeff says to me .. will you marry me again .. will you spend another 16 years with me .. i said yes i will .. but this half you have to do the laundry and take out the trash .. !!

so to make sure that the next 16 years are very well documented i got a dream of a new camera .. the cannon eos 7D .. i am in love .. so now i will make a coffee and read about my super fancy new camera .. it shoots 18 jpeg pictures which are huge files so i am not sure how many of the pictures i will be able to post on my blog .. they are so big that they take forever to upload .. my poor little internet company can't handle really big files .. you will just have to believe me that it takes amazing pictures .. and it shoots video .. i am telling you .. that spielmann .. he sure knows how to sweep a girl off her feet .. tight wranglers with silkys stuffed in his back pocket he is not .. he is the more silent sweet type .. and you know what .. i think that i will keep him around another 16 years or so ..

After Dinner ..

After dinner .. we had to walk around a bit .. because after all that food we ate we were miserable .. so we walked over and checked out the big snow cat .. there is a restaurant on top of the mountain and the only way you can get there is go up on the snow cat .. cash is making snow cat noises ..

they are so fun of macaroni and cheese and steak that they can't even think straight ..
