after i picked cash up from school on friday we went over to utica square to finish some christmas shopping .. while we were there we strolled into the gap to see what they had .. cash looked around for a bit .. thumbed thru some hangers .. found some truck shirts and then held them up to see if they would "fit" .. look mom .. he says .. my size .. so he threw the shirt over his arm and moved onto the jeans .. no luck there .. so he moved to the pj's .. he saw a pair of train pj's on the bottom of the stack .. he carefully lifted up all the other pairs .. grabbed the train pj's .. stacked the other pj's back up and then held those up to see if they would "fit" .. he says .. look mom .. they fit ... next .. the underwear .. he found some with trucks .. he had to look through the packages to find his size .. he looked at me .. as if to say .. mom .. what size underwear do i wear .. so we looked together and found the smalls .. just so happens they had his size .. his arms are full by now but he makes one more loop just to make sure he didn't miss anything that he might need .. then he walks to the counter so that I can pay ... we are walking out of the gap .. he sees starbucks across the street and says .. mom .. lets get some chocolate milk .. i have never been more proud in my whole entire life .. it was a perfect afternoon ... starbucks and shopping .. the whole time i am thinking .. man i wish ellie were here with us .. we got some hot chocolate and a chocolate milk and walked around and looked at the nutcracker suite displays and then called it a day .. our little shopping event made me think of the time that ellie was "shopping" at the gap .. i just so happened to have my camera with me that day to capture her shopping moments ..

oh look .. this is my size ..
i am going to try this one on .. 
oh mom .. these are so cute .. lets get a pair of these to .. !
lets go ..
