finally .. it's time to ride in the big red truck

its finally time ..

time to load the rb ..

get in the big red truck ..

and head to colorado ..

for campfires and ranger rides ..

cash packed 5 pair of underwear and 50 trucks .. 

his priorities are just a little off ..

clean underwear are not as important as having the right kind of equipment when it comes to moving dirt and rocks .. 

ellie is taking bitty baby with her .. 

she made her a campfire out of tissue paper and cinnamon sticks ..

she is so clever ..

cash woke up this morning and he was already dressed ..

they inhaled their breakfast and ran up the hill to get in the big red truck

lucky for me i heard the door slam ..

otherwise i might have got to say goodbye ..

there is no way that lucky is not going to ..

he jumped right in and crawled under the big seat in the back and sat very still and quiet ..

he was hoping that no one would see him and he could go ..

silly lucky .. you get to go 

take the picture all ready mom .. we have to hit the road ..

around the house ..

this is an ancient xbox that we had at the shop .. cash wants to get a game and play it in the worst way 

for some reason this is way way way cooler than the wii ..

not sure why ???

my mini tape recorder .. from my college days .. ellie was recording her piano practice .. 

she wanted to know what she sounded like .. 

she forgot to hit record ..  

a clean pool table .. 

i had to stick this in because it is usually full of stuff .. i wanted you to see what it looks like clean .. 

a basket of bubbles and squirt guns .. 

cash's organized mess .. 

it seems there was a traffic jam ..

he called in the tow truck team but he said they were on vacation ..

won't be back until next week he said ..

water balloon slingshots .. 

and yes .. these should be outside .. 

attitude adjustment ..

after our wonderfully busy memorial day we needed just a bit of an attitude adjustment .. 

we needed sunshine .. orange pop and cheetos .. 

we needed crazy jumping tricks into the lake .. 

we needed big splashes .. 

we needed to nap with stinky boys .. 

the launcher ..

a few weeks ago cash called and asked uncle jay if he could get the launcher out of his boat .. 

you have to ask people before you borrow their things dad .. this was in response to jeff telling cash that no we don't have to call uncle jay .. we can just crawl into his boat and take it .. 

no .. cash said .. we have to ask first dad .. 

yes .. that's my son .. so proud !!

jay .. of course .. said sure cash  

so now forward to memorial day weekend .. 

the dads filled up and tied the balloons .. 

and then watch out .. 

they were trying to hit the roof of papa's garage .. 

they made it .. 

several times .. 

uncle greg helped in this launch .. he had to sit out a bit because he broke the launcher .. 

the rubber band snapped and popped him in the neck .. 

he was our only injury the whole weekend .. 

the launcher was the hit of the weekend .. 

thank you uncle jay .. you are the best .. 

i see a trip to academy sports in our future .. we need more balloons and another launcher ..

seeing how uncle greg broke it !

lake day .. finally ..

finally .. school is out .. we are now officially on our "summer schedule" .. 

cash thought that it would fun to wake surf behind the boat ..

so our first stop was to the shop to pic up the surf board and borrow someones tools so that we assemble the board .. seems you have to put the fins on yourself .. 

orange pop is a must .. 

since granny and grandpa have a boat with a table we took our orange pop and cheetos over to their boat to eat .. cash left just a few orange finger marks on dad's nice white seats .. 

thank goodness mom brought lucky .. he licked them all off ..

tubing .. 

cash needs a hair cut !!

wake boarding .. 

napping .. 

relaxing .. 

we never did wake surf ..

thats for next week .. 

the last day of 3rd grade ..

to celebrate the end of 3rd grade we had a few of ellie's classmates over .. 

to jump off the rock .. 

and fly thru the air ..

and float on noodles ..

cash liked having the girls over .. 

and was sad when i told him that they were only staying for awhile .. not the whole summer .. 

he kept a watchful eye on them ..

we ate hot dogs .. 

and drank grape pop .. 

and wished them all a fun summer !
