Happy Mothers Day ..

because jeff can't ..

1) keep a present a secret or

2) hold onto a present until the day that it needs to be given 

we celebrated mothers day a little early at our house .. 3 days early to be exact ..

oh momma cash says you are so going to love daddy ..

 i thought this was from you and ellie though i say .. 

well it is mom but .. you are so going to love daddy .. 

i was not opening the present fast enough for ellie so she jumped in to help a little ..

oh mom hurry up ..

see mom .. those are just like the picture that is taped to the mirror in daddy's bathroom .. you know the one with the big red heart drawn around it ..

why .. yes cash .. they are ..

I hope your day is filled with breakfast in bed .. fresh flowers .. and a BIG BIG nap this afternnoon .. 

our day ..

wednesday morning we got up BEFORE the sun did .. we packed our lunch but on our "best let's get dirty clothes" and jumped into the truck ..

we didn't stop until we got here ..

then we unloaded .. and for the record cash changed into clothes .. remember uncle dan .. it was early !

lucky dog even went .. you know because dogs love to ride in rangers thru water .. especially dogs with separation anxiety disorder 

there were 5 side by sides and 1 dirt bike 

dad let a little air out of our tires so the ride over the rocks and trees would not be so "bumpy" .. and i will have to say .. i did notice a difference .. thanks dad ..

we rode across water ... lots and lots of water .. and every time cash would say .. gas it dad .. and every time jeff would gas it .. 

we ran into fallen down trees on the "trail" several times .. not to worry though .. our trusty guide had a chain saw .. me .. i brought oreos and wipes with aloe .. no chainsaws ..

cash even got his afternoon nap in .. because you know .. what kid can't sleep while riding over extremely rocky terrain while being jostled from side to side with their head flinging the opposite direction of their body due to the weight of the helmet on their head ..

the veil .. and dress .. and the shoes ..

ellie made her first holy communion today at mass .. i thought that i would share with you her sweet little dress and veil .. her veil had a scalloped edge with just a bit of beading on it ..

2 tiers of tulle ..

her dress was very simple .. 

satin trim at the waist .. buttons down the back ..

and a little pair of patent leather mary janes to top it all off ..
