he's gone ..

my little house guest is gone ..

to say that we had more fun than we can remember won't even come close ..

he is the sweetest and most perfect baby ..

ever ..

our weekend guest ..

our house guest arrived in this .. 

and he brought this with him ..

so far .. this is pretty much all he has done .. 

the kids were at school all day friday .. my one day to have him all to myself and this is what he did ..

he took a huge huge nap .. 

i had to wake him up so that we could go and pick up cash and ellie from school .. 

and then it was all ellie and cash .. 

and then jeff came home ..

the only thing i got to do last night was clean up spit up and change diapers ..

next time i get to baby sit i might send my family away .. 

jeff failed to inform me that he was dressing nice for the superX ..

usually it is a motorcycle shirt of some sorts .. usually with dick lanes monogrammed on it ..

that is not what he packed this time .. he was all about the sweater and nice shirt ..

this means that since i was wearing my superX shirt and jeans I looked like the crazy superX person and jeff was just the poor "joe college preppy" husband that was nice enough to come along ..

this is so not how it is ..

and for the record i will look much nicer for the superX in st. louis and indy ..

what was he thinking !!

cash could not get enough superX ..

we are on our way to the pit party and he is playing superX on jeff's old phone ..

he can play superX and walk in a straight line .. i can not ..

pit party .. besides our tail gate spot .. this is where all the action is ..

after the pit party we went back to our tailgate spot and broke out the toys ..

footballs .. scooters and snacks ..

staging ..

on sunday morning cash was busy busy busy in his room .. 

so i poked my head in to see what was going on .. 

what are you doing i ask ..

he says .. staging ..

what ? .. what does that mean cash ..

mom .. he says .. with a tone of total annoyance .. it means that i have to get all my trucks loaded .. lined up and ready to go .. 

go where i say ..

again with the annoyance ..

i am moving them all into the game room .. 

if you are just moving your trucks then why is all your train stuff ON your trucks ..

annoyed .. i am moving my train stuff to .. 

all of it i ask .. 

yes mom .. 

this little red guy is a donkey ..

not to be confused with a forklift ..which it is NOT !

it is needed to remove the train track from the trailers ..

so there you go .. all the trucks and trailers are loaded up and staged and ready to go ..

he is waiting until i am gone and he is home with just his dad for the big move into the game room .. 

dad never says no .. roll that back into your room ..

cash likes to turn it upside down and watch all the liquid drain out and into the next compartment ..

he especially likes to do this on school mornings .. instead of eating his breakfast .. 

which then in turn makes us late .. 

i found this semi truck pez dispenser at the med-ex in utica square .. 

i forgot deodorant .. i had an extra in my emergency highway kit but it must have melted this summer because it was gooey and gross ..

 there was no way that i was going to smear that underneath my arms .. 

on my way to find deodorant i passed it .. 

i bought it for cash ..

he loved it ..

right next to where cash doesn't eat his breakfast because he is to busy watching all the liquid drain into the next compartment ..

why oh why does he park it right in the middle of the living room ..

my plan is to work on my valentine cards this weekend .. 

i also need to pack up molly's goodies and send them her way ..
