guess who ..

i will give you one guess as to which ranger we rode in .. 

hint .. not any of the clean ones .. 

day 2 in the dirt ..

for day 2 in the dirt we had some company .. 

we started out with a riders meeting ..

ryan and nikki came .. 

jeff .. debbie .. their darling granddaughter who loves lucky the dog and daniel .. 

mike and his girls .. 

mike had all his snacks under his seats .. right next to the tools .. 

cash was wondering what the hold up was .. why are we stopped ?

mike was showing off his fancy new iphone 5 .. look .. we are right here .. 

ellie and her new friend .. 

when we stopped for lunch i shared my wipies with the girls .. and cash .. their hands were dirty gross 

our group .. 

we had a great day 2 in the dirt !

day 1 of the dirt ..

jeff and i meet up with the kids and granny and grandpa on friday morning .. 

we got unloaded and packed up the rangers with snacks .. lunch and drinks .. 

no flat tires or blown up trailer tire wheel bearings this time ..

instead we got stuck .. not stuck in the mud stuck but stuck on top of a mound of dirt stuck 

cash says to jeff .. dad you are going to have to go faster and just jump those suckers !

so get over these mounds you go fast .. the front wheels hit the mound and pop up into the air ..

the body of the ranger then slams onto the top of the mound and makes a big pounding sound .. 

your whole body is jarred and rattled .. then the back wheels pop over the mound and you go fast to the next one ..

we did this many times ..

bam .. bam .. bam .. 

the kids laughed and cheered after each one ..

yes .. he is wearing goggles .. the little flying bugs where getting in his eyes ..

and yes .. his foot got stuck when he tried to get down

and yes he did hang upside down and dangling for a bit while we all giggled about it ..

then we got him unstuck ..

then he got mad and stomped off 

after riding the big trails for awhile we came back to camp ..

and rode the little trails .. some more .. 

our day started out this way .. and ended this way .. 

dirt and speed .. 

all day long ..

fall break ..

granny and grandpa took the kids to whiterock to camp for fall break .. 

ellie packed half of her room ..

cash packed his camo overalls and shirt and trucks ..

grandpa took the little 4-wheeler to .. 

everyone close your eyes !

now open them !

they left thursday morning ..

we will join them on saturday morning ..

we are going to ride rangers .. play in the dirt and make smores ..

i love fall break 

dallas zoo ...

we spent the day out and about downtown ..

we took dart and went downtown for lunch ..

then we headed over to the zoo ..

we love this guy .. we think that he and lucky the dog would have fun together .. 

my surprise ..

i get back from my morning run and facial and this is what greets me ..

jeff and the kids had gone to breakfast and the store .. 

they brought me my favorites ..

got me a map so that i could run outside ..

flowers .. 

and a sweet note .. 

we had forgotten toothpaste .. this isn't really one of my favorite things .. but we needed it ..

so they picked it up while they were getting me my favorites .. 

and this is goble .. our fish .. we are staying at the palomar .. 

they leave you a fish in your room ..

so you don't get lonely ..

4 wheelin fool ..

grandpa found this 1987 y-zinger 4 wheeler when they were camping in colorado this summer .. 

grandpa bought it and has been fixing it up .. 

he is almost done .. just waiting to have the plastics painted .. 

this is the throttle grandpa says ..

this is the brake .. 

and away he goes .. 

and goes .. 

and goes .. 

all under the watchful eyes of lucky .. 

lucky has learned to stay out of cash's way ..

cash does not stop if he is in the way ..

cash just goes and goes ..
